World Curl

Right now, my amazing cousin is in the hospital. (Don´t worry, she's just going to have her baby, she's not sick.) I am so excited because my family hasn't had a a new member since my nephew Caleb, and he was born 4 years ago! So, you can imagine this is a pretty big moment. It's also my cousins first baby!! It's going to be a little boy named Kayden (we need more girls in this family!) just kidding......

No family members are at the hospital with her besides her boyfriend (child's father)  parents, and siblings. The rest of us aren't there, and we usually are. So, ever since 9:30 last night I have been texting my aunt, checking to see if my cousin (the one going into labor soon) is all right. I pray that everything goes smoothly, well as smooth as a childbirth can go.....

Now, my family is crazy, a good crazy - sometimes... ;D  So, I hope this kid is crazy too because if he's not, he's going to need a lot of patience and help to put up with us :P

Good luck Kakki!!!! I love you<3

My Review on the Film "The Purge"

Okay, so I have decided that my life posts are going to be called "World Curl" (might change it in the near future....)
Yesterday I was supposed to go see World War Z with my family but it was completely sold out so we decided to watch the movie I had been wanting to see ever since it came out, The Purge. (this is going to be a review/life post.)

I thought it was amazing!! I mean, it was a bit slow in the beginning but when the plot started it just took off (in a good way.) Now, it was no "The Exorcist," it took on a more suspenseful and creepy film approach. I personally wouldn't recommend it for kids ages 6 and under because there are some blood shedding scenes and then there is the whole plot where the people in the very creepy masks are saying "I'm coming to kill you, but my 7 year old brother saw it and he wasn't scared to the point where he was crying. Then again, he watches Resident Evil......

Basically, it was a really great movie, I liked how there were some funny scenes but it wasn't a "fall out of your seat" movie, which is good because they were coming across as a scary movie and I believe it delivered to that promise. It's a movie I would definitely see again, along with Monsters University. ;)

This just turned into a review....... whoops, sorry.

I promise the next World Curl won't be a review.

My Review on the Film "Monsters University"

Yesterday I saw the amazing movie, Monsters University and I don't regret it for a second!

I am a HUGE Pixar/Disney films fan so when I heard that they were doing a prequel for Monsters Inc. I wanted- no scratch that, I needed to see it.

Monsters University is about the college life of Mike and Sulley, before they worked at Monsters Incorporated. When the movie began, you could start the see the rivalry between the two not yet- best friends we came to know in Monsters Inc. While watching the movie I was literally saying "wow they are so competitive and mean to each other, how did they even become so close?" So, when I saw how Pixar wrapped it up in end I was really satisfied because it worked out so well.

I also was very pleased on how they incorporated some characters from Monsters Inc. into the prequel. Not going to say who........ you're gonna have to find out yourself. They explained a lot and that was what I really wanted to see. They also showed how Mike and Sulley came to work at Monsters Inc. which was another key component I wanted to see.

So all in all, I think that everyone, even adults (because my mother loved it), should watch this movie because it is just excellent. I really love how Pixar tied everything together and did a prequel instead of a sequel. It had heart, it was SUPER funny and just *thumbs up*. It literally made me want to enroll at Monsters University.
